Abstract:
Results of numerical modeling of some structural features of a nocturnal atmospheric boundary layer over the urbanized surface are presented. The mesoscale model includes the improved nonlocal parameterization of the turbulence, developed on the basis of three-parametric turbulence model. The turbulent Prandtl number shows a stabile dependence on the gradient Richardson number, while the vertical turbulent heat transfer shows the countergradient character. It is shown, that in a nocturnal boundary layer the "upside-down boundary layer structure" is fixed.
