Abstract:

The new approach to restoration of a phase from interferogram, consisting in application of a classical method of interference fringe tracing on the sample, in which interference fringes change number and orientation is offered. Wave fronts restored from separate interferograms, are averaged, and the quality of the studied surface is estimated. Averaging of a phase from several interferograms allows one to lower the dispersion of an error of restoration of the phase, causing not only randomly noises, but also non-uniformity of a covering of the aperture by interference fringes, and heterogeneity of a light source. Results of the modeling experiments show prospects application interferometry in nanometrology of high-quality optical elements.
