Abstract:
This paper describes an automated test stand used for investigation of laser radiation absorption by atmospheric pollutant gases. The absorption coefficients of ammonia and sulphur dioxide have been measured at the CO2–laser lines that are most strongly absorbed. It is shown that two lines from the sequential band (00021–10011) are suitable for ammonia detection.
