Abstract:

In the Stokes approximation the stationary motion of large solid aerosol spherical particle in gas, on which powerful electromagnetic radiation falls, is described theoretically. By consideration of the motion it was assumed that average temperature of the particle surface significantly differs from the temperature of gaseous medium. During solution gas-dynamic equations analytical expressions for the force and velocity of photophoresis were derived taking into account the dependence of gaseous medium density, viscosity, and heat conduction on temperature.
