Abstract:

Comparative measurements of the level of turbulences are conducted in ground-based atmospheric layer by optical and acoustic methods. The measurements were executed by means of an original equipment, designed at Zuev Institute of Atmospheric Optics. The level of turbulence in ground-based layer of atmosphere at a height of 1.65 m was studied. A stable difference between data, obtained by optical and acoustic method was found.
