Abstract:

Energy characteristics for different parameters of modeling of preferably oriented hexagonal ice columns are studied. The parameters of modeling have been taken as follows: aspect ratios F = {1,5; 2,5; 5; 10}, the incident angle q0 = (0; 90°), the maximum deviation of the particle from the horizontal plane of 5° has been taken for normal and uniform distribution. Tables of distributions of scattered energy among halos depending on incident angles, aspect ratios and forms of flutter are presented. It is shown that 70-100% of the scattered energy is distributed among some halos for the case of the 3Dc-orientation. For the case of the 3Dc-orientation, 50-85% of the scattered energy is distributed among only u.tg.a, l.tg.a, forward peak and circumscribed halo.
