Abstract:

The dynamics of the intensity ratio of far-red F734 to red F682 fluorescence chlorophyll of poplar leaves growing near roads is studied. It is established that the parameter F734 /F682 significantly higher in plants growing near highways with heavy traffic. The effect of temperature and carbon dioxide on the studied parameter is discussed.
