Abstract:

The analysis of influence of averaged vertical component of wind on stratospheric aerosol transport at the use of assimilation GCM UKMO database for 1993-2006 is carried out. By the example of a problem about action of constant particles source near stratopause it is shown, that account of action of the averaged vertical wind alongside with the account gravitational sedimentation and turbulent diffusion changes drastically the standard high-altitude profiles of relative particle concentration. Results for levitation altitudes in stratosphere for particles of various density and sizes at action gravity and force of wind pressure are presented.
