Abstract:

A way to generate an active medium by the use of a stationary electric field is proposed to amplify ultra-high frequency radiation in the range of λ ~ 10 cm. The way is based on dispersing of lengthened conducting nanoparticles. The volume concentration of nanoparticles and the necessary value of the stationary electric field for pumping the medium are estimated.
