Abstract:

Wavefront phase structure function approximations are derived for a light wave distorted in a turbulent atmosphere. The influence of external tur-bulent scale is considered. The wavefront correction errors are calculated for membrane adaptive mirrors. Contributions of Zernike polynomials and eigenfunctions of correlation matrix for the structure function approximation are investigated.
