Abstract:

The paper presents a description of a multi-wave sun photometer intended for all-the year-round automated measurements of the atmospheric transparency in the wavelength range 0.37-4 mkm. The instrumentation complex is capable of determining the aerosol optical thickness (AOT), moisture content, direct and total solar radiation. The methods of automation of the experiment, calibration of the photometer, and calculation of AOT of the atmosphere are under consideration.
