Abstract:
The effect of the atmospheric and terrestrial radiation and scattering and the detector system noise characteristics on the image contrast and the signal-to-noise ratio is estimated as applied to the observation and finding of objects by means of a IR passive remote sensing complex capable of monitoring the thermal radiation.
