Аннотация:

Рассматриваются результаты лабораторного моделирования динамики образования сульфатов в частицах атмосферной дымки при окислении захватываемого из газовой фазы SO2 в присутствии ионов Mn/Fe. Обнаружено, что темпы выработки сульфатов в темновых условиях (десятки мкг × м-3 × ч-1) отвечают ранее не известному режиму каталитической реакции, ключевым элементом которого является разветвление цепей с участием промежуточного продукта  (кислота Каро) и ионов Mn2+. Приводятся оценки константы скорости этой жидкофазной реакции, а также рассматривается критерий разделения режимов окисления SO2 на медленный и вырождено-разветвленный (быстрый). Приводится наблюдаемая константа скорости наработки сульфатов в частицах:  = 1,4 л × моль-1 × с-1 (Т = 298 К). Проведенные в этих рамках расчеты динамики образования сульфатов согласуются с данными лабораторных опытов. Результаты расчетов не противоречат также данным мониторинга содержания сульфатов в дымке над Пекином (декабрь 2016 г.).
