Results of experimental investigations into the possibilities of constructing LiNbO3 crystal based phase front correctors with prescribed spatial modes are presented. A technique for adjusting the shape of driving electrodes is described. It is shown that the suggested corrector is free from several flaws typical of flexible mirrors.
