A method for sounding the ozone concentration at different wavelengths λ=308 and λ =532 nm is briefly described. The method requires that the effect of the aerosol be correctly converted from λ1 to λ2. The accuracy with which the O content is reconstructed is discussed based on mathematical analysis of the empirical data using different aerosol models.
