Abstract:

Method of evaluation of mutual coherence function of an optical wave propagating in turbulent atmosphere based on using of conversation of Fresnel integral and 2-D Fast Fourier Transformation procedure is proposed. The method is suitable for optical waves with arbitrary initial distribution of amplitude and phase, and for various spectra of correlation function of refractive index fluctuations and profiles of structural characteristic of refractive index. For verification of developed method, evaluations of mutual coherence function of asymmetric Laguerre-Gaussian mode of laser beam carried out and the results are presented.
