Abstract:

Polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon-4) ablation and degradation under different thermal conditions and CO2-laser irradiation have been studied. It has been shown that as the temperature of the irradiated samples decreased, the size of the produced particles decreased too (down to several tens of nanometers).
