Abstract:

We discuss the cases of extremely high concentration of ozone (480 mkg/m³) observed at nighttime in winter near Tomsk. Analysis of such episodes, in relation to other air components, usually of the anthropogenic origin, leads to a conclusion that the episodes of such an anomalous behavior of the near-ground ozone concentration are due to the industrial emissions.
