The statistical characteristics of radiation attenuation coefficients and meteorological parameters of the atmosphere in the coastal zone are given in the paper. Different variants of restitution with the use of the fiveparameter regression equation are treated. This method is shown to be applicable for separating into aerosol and molecular components as well as for determining the temperature dependence of the continuous water-vapor absorption coefficient and contribution of fine aerosol absorption to the total aerosol attenuation in the 8-12mm range.
