Аннотация:

Обзор проблематики лесных пожаров (имеющих главным образом природное происхождение) содержит анализ не только условий и масштабов лесных пожаров, но и их воздействий на окружающую среду, проявляющихся в изменении как свойств подстилающей поверхности и процессов на уровне поверхности, так и изменений химического состава атмосферы. Особое внимание уделено проблеме влияния лесных пожаров на формирование круговорота углерода, а также роли пожаров как фактора динамики окружающей среды.
