Abstract:

Description of the underwater-lidar setup located inside hydrooptical trunk of a research ship is presented. The design of the lidar excepts the influence of the sea surface on the results of sounding of the upper layer of an ocean and makes it possible to perform the measurements while running. The results of the measurements of the spatiotemporal structure of the laser—radiation extinction coefficient inside the ocean upper layer are presented.
