Abstract:

In the present work, the possibility of forecasting absolute values of the aerosol optical thickness (AOT) of the atmosphere and range of its variations based on measurements of a Cimel СЕ-318 Sun-Sky radiometer is considered. It is concluded that the term of forecast of absolute average AOT values does not exceed one day, whereas the maximum term of forecast of the range of AOT variations is seven days.
