Abstract:

The dependence of the HD16O line broadening coefficients on the "good" quantum numbers - angular momentum and symmetry of the upper and lower levels - is analysed for rotational quantum numbers J up to 50. Dependencies have been investigated for the different branches: P, Q and R. Results are obtained using three different methods: by averaging the broadening coefficients from HITRAN-2008 for small J values, by averaging the calculated, semi-empirical data for high J (up to 50) and also used semiempirical model if for transition there are full set of quantum numbers. The resulting data can be used to calculate, with reasonable accuracy, spectra of water vapour with millions of weak lines included, for example linelist VTT (Voronin, Tennyson, Tolchenov) - 700.000.000 transitions.
