Abstract:

Intracavity spectroscopy based on color center lasers was used to measure gas absorption in the 3754-3790 cm-1 spectral region. The absorption spectra of the atmosphere, nitrogen dioxide and methane were recorded by means of a spectrum analyzer with a Fabry-Perot interferometer. The minimum detectable absorption coefficient monitored by the system was found to be 10-5 cm-1.
