Abstract:
Reported here is a way of measuring the field quadrature components based on spatial separation of the electromagnetic wave in the lens focal plane into coherent and incoherent parts. The utility of the proposed approach for determination of laser amplitude and phase fluctuations in the atmosphere is discussed.
