Abstract:

The Effect of the mirror thermal deformations within an unstable telescope-type resonator on the laser output is examined in terms of the solution to a self-consistent problem. The controlled resonator field subject to thermal deformations is calculated. Active correction techniques to compensate for the mirror distortions due to the beam loading are discussed.
